And I quickly said ‘I’m not pregnant I ovulated on like Thursday and fucked on the Saturday, there’s no way I am.’ And they all said you are! you are! and teased me about it. And secretly I sat there all night really happy, pretending I was pregnant with his child, and imagining its black hair and raising it and how he’d have to pay to raise it and how having a child would really fuck my shit right up but I didn’t care because it would be our kid, and how if he really didn’t want to have a kid with anybody, he really shouldn’t have had unprotected sex, the idiot.
