Yes, you can eat anything you want to in Brussels.
So I guess this place must be perfect for me!
Seriously.
Appetizer: Moules a la St. Catherine - that’s mussels in tomato sauce with baked-over cheese and pesto sauce on top of that. Never had that before, was delicious! Sorry, picture is blurry because I tried to take it covertly while the waiter was standing a few feet away from our table, obviously bored so staring at us the entire time.
Entree: Steamed baby lobster with cocktail sauce and garlic sauce for dipping. Very light and fresh.
Dessert: Mousse au chocolat in a creamy vanilla sauce laced with caramel drippings, a dollop of whipped cream and a fresh strawberry. To die for.
I didn’t take a picture of the other two courses (waiter was still staring) but here’s a picture from a side street of Grand Place on our way to Place St. Catherine. It’s got lobsters on it. (No mousse though.)

Aimlessly strolling through sunny Brussels on my day off is just so strenuous, I needed a little snack and drink (yes, that’s Champagne, dahling) to recover.
